Your key to getting started is convenience.
When we have goals, it’s easy to think about all the things we need before taking our first step. This mindset makes sense. You don’t want to go into situations completely unaware of what you’re getting into. Too much preparation can be just as harmful though.
Without action, you may never take the steps you need to learn and grow. Take this blog for example.
I spent months thinking about everything I needed to start it back up. First it was a content plan. Then it was fixing my keyboard. Then it was a cool new design for my website.
So that’s why I’m here today, a year later, typing Chapter 5 on my couch as I watch One Piece. If I kept brainstorming, I’d still be thinking about what I need to get started. It’s good to plan ahead, but some things in life require you to jump. You just need to determine what bruises you’re comfortable with if you fall.
The trick is to gradually build safety nets that give you the courage to keep on taking off. When you focus on what's convenient to you, this process gets easier and easier over time - trust me. Well that’s all I have to say for now. And that I believe in you.
